The Yob Family Foundation (YFF) is pleased to announce our Healthy Meals for Tampa’s Health Care Workers Program. YFF, in partnership with several health care institutions including Tampa General Hospital and Advent Health is now providing healthy meals to support our health care heroes during these turbulent times.

COVID-19 has significantly impacted the entire world, and the Tampa Bay area is no exception. The way we live and the way we operate our businesses has forever changed. Now, more than ever, we must give back to our essential frontline workers who provide selfless care for those of us in need. Every day they show up to do the job, despite the risks that the pandemic presents & our community is so grateful!

At the Yob Family Foundation, we sought a way to show appreciation for our healthcare workers for all they do and at the same time provide business opportunities and revenue for some of our local restaurants that have been suffering as a result of the Covid-19 virus.” says Jonathan Yob.

This win-win community partnership with health care providers and local restaurants (including The TGH Foundation, YFF. El Carriel the Honduras Restaurant & Advent Health of Wesley Chapel & Tampa Bay on Fletcher) kicked off with our pilot event on May 19, 2020 at Tampa General Hospital. We all worked together to serve lunch to the hospital’s brave staff. Lunch was served to four different departments:

  • The Emergency Center
  • Environmental Services
  • Security
  • Children’s Medical Services.

Participating employees were served authentic Mexican cuisine as a thank you for all the work they’ve done during this pandemic.
